Getting work done... then to the zoo

In an attempt to try and tackle and finish a few projects around the house/yard, we sent Cairo outside to supervise her Bapa.  She couldn't help herself- she had to pitch in and show Bapa how it was done.

When I picture my dad in the years I was growing up, one picture that quickly comes to my mind is him working outside with a shovel and laying bricks.  The projects that my dad takes on are always done well, but they take a while to complete.  This specific project was a walkway my dad started about 3 years ago and never quite finished.  A few hours and less than $20 bucks later this project is almost checked off.  Now, we just need to grout the bricks.  Don't worry, we'll do that next year.

After the morning of cement and bricks, we headed for the zoo with Xander, the kids, and Grammy and Bapa.  

Can you say tired?  I don't think that we were even out of the parking lot before Jonah fell asleep.  Cairo and Xander quickly followed suit.
