Day 2: Cairo and Erik did this lesson together. Cairo cried a bit during the first part of the lesson, but as time passed she became more comfortable and cracked a smile or two.
Day 3: Due to the recommendation of the swim instructor, I joined Erik and Cairo in the water for the third lesson. Therefore, we don't have any pictures to share. Cairo enjoyed having me in the water with her and even had some fun. She liked it when her Daddy and Mommy blew bubbles at her and she liked to splash her dad with water, too. Cairo let me hold her out in front of me on her tummy so that she could kick her feet. She wan't as comfortable, though, being on her back in the water. Overall, much progress was made.
Day 4: Still no pictures. Daddy had the sniffles, so it was just Cairo and I in the water during the lesson. Cairo spent the entire time smiling and laughing. She likes to "jump" into the water and splash. She did better at swimming (which means kicking her feet) on both her tummy and her back. She even seemed comfortable enough to go all the way under water. We tried this at the end of the lesson. She sucked in a little water, but didn't seem to really mind.
