In other news...

I always have a lot of odds and ends and no clever title to give it.  Actually, most of my post titles aren't very clever.  So, I will just settle on "In other news..."

Erik and Jonah built a city.  Future Architect?  Erik and I would be thrilled!

Saturday morning and nails.  Grammy does a great job helping Cairo keep up her princess appearance.

I'd like to introduce my lamb.  Yes, it is the new and improved Sienna.  All this time I thought she was over weight (I called her fluffy to be nice).  In fact, she was just fluffy.  The dogs went in for a grooming and got the Golden Retriever Summer Cut, ie. they were shaved like a lamb.  The difference with Sienna was so great I did not realize it was her when they brought her out.  She's so much smaller and whiter than I thought.  She looked just like a puppy again.  After multiple surgeries, we're used to seeing Guinness shaved, but we were thinking of asking for a unique summer cut for him.  We were thinking of "the lion-" shave everything but the "mane" and end of the tail.  He he he.  He would be humiliated, though.  So, he just got the Golden Summer Cut, too.

While I was away one evening (I can't remember where I was), Jonah and Xander were playing in the back of the house while everyone else was in the front.  When they came to check up on the boys the slider door in my parent's room was open, Jonah's clothes were in a pile, and he was running naked through the sprinkler.  Apparently, Xander told Jonah to run through the sprinklers, and being the obedient little boy that he is, Jonah did it. He had a great time.
