My mom, the kids, and I went and spent the weekend with my Nana and Papa. While we are always up for a visit with N & P, we REALLY wanted to head north an hour and see the Elephant Seals. The day we chose to head north was full of sunshine and a crisp wind. The beach was covered with Elephant seals. The kids loved hearing the bulls grunt and yell. The babies were really cute and the kids giggled every time the seal sent sand flying in the air as they tried to cover themselves up.
We stopped for a nice water front lunch in Morro Bay and then headed back to Nana and Papa's.
Jonah had a great time talking with Papa, while the rest of us had some downtime.
And, as tradition would have it, we took the obligatory pictures in the front yard before we left.
