Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the whole world. We love you so much. Thank you for all the hugs, kisses, jokes, and silly times!
What a beautiful Father's Day it was up here in Humboldt County this year! To celebrate that day, we joined the BBQ at the Humboldt Crabs Field hosted by Lee and Jill's church. We spread out our blankets on the right field lawn and took in the noontime baseball game in the beautiful sunshine. The kids ran around and got rid of the excess energy- score!

Katie and Lili joined us for the game. |

Jonah Bear eating all of Lili's snacks. |

Twin Cousins! Not done on purpose, but it thrilled the girls. |

Kyoko and her friend visiting from Japan Yuke (sp?). |

A typical self portrait. |

Cairo and Mei were playing hide-n-seek. It was a pretty open space, so the game wasn't that challenging. Here is Mei hiding. Cairo was standing about five feet to the right. Notice, though, that Mei covered her face :o) |

The boys! |

Lili wanted me to take her picture with Cairo- cute! |
 |
The happy fathers. Somehow I didn't get a single picture of Lee! |

Ahhh, a moment caught. It looks like we are gazing into each other's eyes affectionately... but really I was trying to get him to understand that I wanted to take a picture WITH him, NOT have him take a picture of me and Katie. |

He finally understood. Me and the bestest hubby a girl could have. |
Father's Day also marked the day that we moved Jonah from his crib to the toddler bed. We had been planning on doing it soon, but I kept putting it off. Jonah decided to climb out of his crib earlier in the day and was holding on for dear life of the other side of the crib when I found him. So, we thought it was time. The baby rail didn't get put on until the next day because we couldn't find the screws. Luckily, Jonah fell asleep on the way home from the baseball game and I was able to put him right down for his nap.
Bedtime that night was another issue. He got out of bed multiple times. In the end, I had to close the door to keep him in the room (I am very thankful that he cannot open doors yet). Once he stopped talking and singing I went to check on him and found him asleep on the futon. I moved him to his bed. When I went to check on him before going to bed myself, I found him sprawled out in the middle of his floor. Well, it was a good first try.
