Cairo's Responsibilities

For Cairo's birthday I gave her a responsibility chart.  Each week we pick a list of daily responsibilities that Cairo needs to try to complete.  The things range from making her bed, to feeding the dogs, to sharing and using using words like please and thank you.  Cairo has really bought into it.  Each night we review the list and talk about what she did and did not do.  For example, if she wants to get checked off for sharing, she needs tell me when she shared something and whether she could have done a better job at it.  The two tasks that Cairo has made good progress on are sharing and making her bed.  Sharing is still hard, but she is a lot more conscious about it.  We still have some work to do in the making the bed department, but I think that she has already surpassed Erik in her bed-making skills.

Cairo made sure to line up ALL her stuffed animals that she has been insisting she needs to sleep with... she even neatly tucked a few in.  That's my girl.
