Random Pictures

Here are a few random pictures.

Cairo loves to draw on her Aqua Doodle. The "pen" has water in it that causes the canvas to get wet and show the blue backing behind it. This helps keeps Cairo busy while Erik is watching both her and Xander during the day.

Cairo wants to be a plummer for Halloween... so, she is practicing.
This is what Cairo, Xander, and Erik look like at the end of the day.

Xander taking his nap on his favorite spot- a person (though his Mommy and his Grammy are his absolute favorites)
Once again, Cairo saying "cheese" while feeding herself some yogurt... she's just sooo camera shy...

Cairo's Baptism

Cairo and Xander got baptized on the same day, September 14th. That way we only had to have one party. As you can see, Cairo was very demure, calm, and serene... taking in the reverence of the moment. (see all baptism pictures below)

Cairo wore her Grandma Diane's first communion dress.

Close-Up

Isn't Cairo getting all grown up (disregard the dried drool on the side of her mouth)? Here is a close up of what she is looking like these days.

Disneyland

We took a trip to Disneyland this past weekend for Heather's 30th birthday. I never got my camera out, but Grammy snapped a few pictures. Cairo was much more aware than she was last year when we visited. She especially liked the Tiki Room.

Here is Cairo taking a 2 hour nap-

"Mommy, can I have THIS lollipop?"

Pigtails

Since I found out that I was going to have a little girl, I have been anxiously awaiting the moment that I would get to put her hair up into little pigtails. Cairo was born with dark little fuzz on her head that eventually turned into a mullet. Around six months, all her hair fell out and I had a bald baby. Slowly her hair has grown in, thick and strawberry blond. Now she has a new mullet, fun.

So, last weekend I decided that Cairo finally had enough hair to put it up... and boy does she look cute! (Especially when she is looking up at you with a goofy smile saying "cheese") Doing the hair of a wiggly baby is definitely a challenge but I am getting better at it each day. While at Disneyland, someone said she looked like Boo from the movie Monsters Inc. Aside from Cairo's light colored hair (Boo's hair is dark) I would have to agree.
