Ride 'em, Cowboy!

Jonah has liked being a cowboy lately.  He's enjoyed putting on his a cowboy hat, throwing on his Woody costume (sometimes mixing elements of Buzz Lightyear with it... or he just wears both costumes at the same time- yes, two pairs of pants over his regular clothes, two shirts, etc), and he hops on his broomstick-horse and rides away into the sunset.... or down the hall, as it may be.

In fact, he takes this cowboy business so seriously, you don't often see him sleep without his faithful steed, "horsey," (yeah, that would be a stuffed giraffe).  Recently, he refused to be taken out of his cowboy jammies for TWO days.  We finally tempted him to take them off with a bath full of toys.  Sure, you may be thinking stinky kid, but it's good for him to win an argument every once in a while, especially when he has such STRONG opinions about it.  Besides, you should have heard him scream when I tried to change him.  It was so darn cute how adamant he was about it all, I couldn't resist letting him have his way... this once.

Time Out!

When little boys are naughty, time out is where they go!  Sorry, J, those tears won't work on me!

March Madness

It's March and we've been doing a lot to keep up busy.  Dress up, funny photos, playing with fairies, crazy dance parties, trips to the arboretum, sippy cups stuck to Jonah's face, capes, daddy hide-n-seek, potty parties...

Knott's Berry Farm

Though we love Disneyland, it has gotten a little too expensive and a little two crowded.  So, what else is there to do to entertain kids?  Good ole Knott's Berry Farm.  We spent most of our time playing in Camp Snoopy.  The kids had a great time and used up lots and lots of energy.  When it started to heat up and get a little crowded, we headed out.  The kids were promised a yummy treat (to keep them awake on the car ride home) and crashed for a few hours when we got home.  Thanks Grammy and Bapa!

We couldn't get J Bear out of this bouncy house when time was up.  The attendant hard to walk in there, catch him as he tried to crawl away from her, and drag him out.
