11 months... last week

We've had Cairo for almost a year now. Can you believe it! Only a few more weeks and we will be celebrating our not so little baby's 1st birthday. This past weekend I went back and looked at come pictures of Cairo throughout the year and it really made me realize how much and hoe fast she's changing. She's no longer that pudgy little blob with the cute little giggle. Instead, I have a long and lean, wiggly, LOUD baby on the verge of being a toddler.

Cairo loves blueberries!!!

Here are some glimpses of Cairo today. She is interacting more and more with us and things around her.

Cairo is learning new words. Over the past few weeks Cairo has learned the word ball or "baaaaaaa". Anything that is round or circular is a "baaaaaaa"... including her morning blueberries.

Today while in the tub Cairo dropped her tubby toy (over and over again) and said uh-oh, pronounced "uh-uh".

And I thought I could give a good Booboo face!

Mother's Day

So Mother's Day was a few weeks ago and I am finally getting around to posting a few pictures...

My parents, Erik, Cairo, and I spent the weekend up in Santa Maria with my Nana and Papa. As always, the weekend was nice and relaxing and the food was great. Cairo was an angel for my very first Mother's Day. She didn't bring me breakfast in bed, but she was good about giving me lots of kisses.

Cairo is a great help when opening and playing with presents... especially with Nana's "baba".

Kissing Cairo

Cairo has learned how to kiss...
