We went to the doctor last Friday and here are Cairo's 9 month stats:

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall
Cairo's First Easter
For Easter Cairo and I (and my parents, Heather, Paul, and Peanut "Der" Hazen) went up to my grandparents house up in Santa Maria. Erik got some much needed time to relax, surf, and wash the car! Though us kids are all grown up and I have one of my own, my mom just HAS to do the egg hunt. So, after a yummy breakfast, we all went out in search of the eggs hidden throughout the backyard. We had to pull Heather back from stealing all of Cairo's eggs that were "hidden" on the grass. That girl will do anything for a buck or two! (Did I mention that the Easter Bunny bring us eggs full of quarters and dollar bills?)
Here are several pictures of Cairo enjoying her eggs. You may notice a few outfit changes- Grandpa spilled a few drops of coffee on Cairo's dress while keeping her from eating the grass, so we took it off and replaced it with a dress my Grandma Biggle brought me back from Switzerland when I was a baby.

Strawberries

Spring has arrived... that means that strawberries are on their way. During the past weekend, we went up to my Nana and Papa's house. My Papa knows where to find the very best strawberries and made sure that we had plenty to enjoy. Here is Cairo having her very first taste of a real strawberry... and putting those two front teeth to use.

Photos at Manhattan Beach

A few months back my mom saw pictures a patient of hers had done by a fabulous photographer. We tried to book the photographer to take pictures of Cairo the our small family back in October, but she was booked through the new year. So, we finally got an appointment this past Sunday and took pictures at the Manhattan Beach Pier. Our normally happy and smiley baby was crabby and clingy. Go figure... spending good money on good pictures and we have a grumpy baby. The photographer was great and we did get Cairo to give us a smile here and there. Here is a sneak peak picture she sent us today. I LOVE IT!
